BridgeBio Pharma entered a voluntary agreement with the U.S. government to expand state Medicaid access to Attruby through the GENEROUS Model and lower costs for patients with rare genetic diseases. The company said it will continue offering Attruby through Medicare Part D without future pricing mandates, although the agreement’s specific terms remain confidential. ForgingBridges, its existing copay assistance program, is unaffected and can reduce qualifying patients’ out-of-pocket costs to as little as $0 per month. Attruby is approved for adults with wild-type or variant transthyretin-mediated amyloidosis cardiomyopathy, or ATTR-CM. BridgeBio also has three medicines under FDA review for genetic conditions with limited or no approved treatment options.
