Samsung Electronics launched the New Galaxy Book6 in South Korea on the 1st, targeting mid- to low-priced laptop demand with a starting price of ₩1.19 million ($819). Prices range from ₩1.19 million to ₩1.49 million, making the model ₩410,000 to ₩1.02 million cheaper than the standard Galaxy Book6, which starts at ₩1.6 million and ranges up to ₩2.51 million. The reduced-price model lowers memory, storage and neural-processing capacity while retaining a 14-inch anti-glare display, 1.35-kilogram design, up to 25 hours of video playback and Galaxy AI features such as AI Cut Out. It uses 8GB of LPDDR5X memory, 256GB of NVMe storage and a 15 TOPS neural processing unit, compared with up to 32GB of memory, 1TB of storage and 49 TOPS on the standard model. Processor options are Intel Core 3 304 and Core 3 315. Samsung is offering benefits worth up to ₩180,000 through the 8th on Samsung.com, followed by launch promotions through the 22nd. The New Galaxy Book6 expands the Galaxy Book6 range to four price tiers alongside the standard, Ultra and Pro models.
