LG Electronics will launch the 14-inch LG Gram Book AI 2026 on the 7th of this month at a starting price of ₩1.45 million, more than ₩1 million below the ₩2.74 million price of the existing LG Gram AI 2026. The value-focused laptop has 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, compared with 16GB and 512GB in the existing model, helping LG lower costs as surging DRAM and SSD prices put pressure on PC pricing. It uses a 2026 Intel Core Series 3 processor, offers up to 30.5 hours of battery life, weighs 1.29 kilograms and is 14.9 millimeters thick. The model is the first 14-inch product in the Gram Book line and includes Windows AI features, broad connectivity, LG Gram Link, software compatibility and a physical webcam shutter. LG will offer one-time purchases and subscriptions of up to four years, with free after-sales service during the contract and one free battery and keyboard replacement. The device will be sold online from the 7th, followed by Best Shop availability in the middle of the month. LG is expanding its mid- to low-priced lineup as memory costs rise, while Gartner forecasts higher DRAM and SSD prices could push PC prices up 17% and increase memory's share of component costs from 16% to as much as 23%.
