Mercedes-Benz Korea has begun taking pre-orders for the next-generation electric CLA sedan in South Korea, with customer deliveries scheduled for the fourth quarter. The model is the first to use Mercedes-Benz’s Modular Architecture, or MMA, and is offered in five electric trims based on the CLA 200 Electric and CLA 250+ Electric. Prices range from ₩52.9 million to ₩67.7 million. The CLA 250+ Electric offers up to 792 kilometers of WLTP-rated range, while the CLA 200 Electric is rated for up to 542 kilometers. Both use an 800-volt charging system, with maximum charging rates of 200 kilowatts and 320 kilowatts, respectively. The new CLA runs on MB.OS and includes the latest MBUX infotainment system, MBUX Superscreen and MB.DRIVE Assist. Two 48-volt mild-hybrid versions, the CLA 220 and CLA 220 AMG Line Launch Edition, are scheduled to go on sale in September.
