Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. said CFO Steven Thomas will step down on September 1, 2026, to pursue other opportunities and will support the company as an adviser during the transition. Chairman Jonathan Comerford said Thomas made a significant contribution during four years of change and challenge. Mountain Province holds a 49% interest with De Beers Canada in the Gahcho Kué diamond mine in Canada’s Northwest Territories and controls more than 96,000 hectares of surrounding mineral claims and leases. The company said the area includes an Indicated resource at the Kelvin kimberlite and Inferred resources at the Faraday kimberlites. Kelvin is estimated at 13.62 million carats in 8.50 million tonnes, while Faraday 2 is estimated at 5.45 million carats in 2.07 million tonnes and Faraday 1-3 at 1.90 million carats in 1.87 million tonnes. Mountain Province cautioned that its forward-looking statements and resource estimates are subject to operational, market, permitting, financing, mining and other risks, and that mineral resources do not have demonstrated economic viability.
