H.I.G. Capital has appointed Younghee Choi as Head of Asia within its Capital Formation Group. Based in Hong Kong, she will oversee capital formation across the firm’s global private equity, credit and real assets platforms. Choi joins from Blackstone, where she served as Senior Managing Director and Head of Korea ICS after holding senior roles in its Institutional Client Solutions and Private Wealth businesses. H.I.G. said her more than 15 years of experience and investor relationships will support expansion of its Asian limited partner base. The firm has $75 billion of capital under management and has invested in and managed more than 400 companies worldwide since its founding in 1993.
