The partnership combines Gemtek’s expertise in optical communications, photonic integration and product development with Dixon’s manufacturing scale, supply-chain capabilities and market presence in India. It aims to create a scalable platform serving broadband, telecom, cloud, data-center and AI infrastructure markets in India and globally. Gemtek’s portfolio spans 1G to 1.6T and includes optical transceivers, SFPs, BOSA and other high-speed connectivity products. The company is using EIC-PIC photonic integration and advanced manufacturing capabilities to advance its roadmap toward 800G, 1.6T and next-generation photonic integration technologies as AI, cloud and data-center infrastructure drive demand for higher-bandwidth connectivity. The collaboration also supports India’s focus on local manufacturing and combines Gemtek’s technology and product-development capabilities with Dixon’s local production and supply-chain infrastructure. Gemtek will showcase its 1G-to-1.6T optical connectivity portfolio at India Mobile Congress 2026 from October 7 to 10 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi, Hall 2, Booth B1, including solutions for broadband, telecom and AI data-center applications.
