Separate official inflation reports showed annual price growth easing in Kazakhstan and Turkey in August 2026. Kazakhstan’s inflation fell to 9.8% from 10.2% in July, its lowest since February 2025, while Turkey’s declined to 31.51% from 31.75%, below the 31.62% expectation and its lowest since March. Kazakhstan’s monthly consumer-price growth was unchanged at 0.6%, whereas Turkey’s monthly CPI rose to 1.84% from 1.78%, its strongest pace since May but below the 1.93% forecast.
