Yuhan Corporation signed a 131.0744 billion won ($95.4 million) active pharmaceutical ingredient supply contract with a global pharmaceutical company, according to a September 1 filing. The agreement runs from signing through May 31, 2028, covers the United States and includes no down payment or advance payment. The counterparty’s identity is being withheld under a trade-secret disclosure deferral that expires when the contract ends. The latest deal brings Yuhan’s disclosed API contracts this year to 397 billion won ($289.1 million), above last year’s 257.9 billion won total. Yuhan Chemical, Yuhan’s wholly owned production subsidiary, will manufacture and deliver the APIs. Earlier disclosures cited 360 billion won in four Gilead contracts and a separate 56 billion won domestic biotech contract; those figures are not reconciled with the latest cumulative total.
