BYD’s global sales increased for a fourth consecutive month in August, with total deliveries rising 17.8% year on year to 440,293 vehicles. Brazil, its biggest market outside China, is central to the strategy as the company prepares to launch its first locally produced plug-in hybrid flex-fuel vehicle there.
