Industrial production trends diverged in July 2026: North Macedonia’s output rose 1.3% year on year, down from 6.5% in June, while Croatia’s increased 7.2%, up from 4.3% and its strongest growth since November 2025. In North Macedonia, manufacturing growth slowed to 3.4%, mining and quarrying declined 5.9%, and electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply fell 19.5%; by industrial grouping, energy output fell 22.2%. In Croatia, manufacturing growth accelerated to 6.8%, intermediate goods rose 16.6%, and energy output increased 9.1%, although capital goods remained in contraction. Croatia’s seasonally adjusted monthly production rose 3.9% in July, while North Macedonia’s January-July output increased 0.9% year on year.
