Medical and health services managers are projected to post the largest numerical gain at 155,100 jobs, while data scientists are projected to add roughly 95,400 and computer and information research scientists about 8,400. Data scientists and computer and information research scientists carry very high relative AI exposure, though the BLS says that measure is not a forecast of job losses. Renewable-energy roles including solar photovoltaic installers and wind turbine service technicians are set for very fast percentage growth but fewer than 15,000 combined openings, as AI-related power demand lifts utilities. Retail trade and federal government employment are projected to fall 0.2% and 3.4%, respectively, while healthcare remains the near-term leader in job creation, adding 22,000 positions in July.
