Immunic, Inc. appointed Chitrang Davé chief data and digital officer effective Sept. 1, 2026, and scheduled a virtual research and development day for Sept. 9 ahead of expected year-end Phase 3 ENSURE data in relapsing multiple sclerosis. Reporting to Chief Executive Officer Erik Lundgren, Davé will build an enterprise-wide organization spanning data science, engineering, management, analytics, AI and digital capabilities to support a potential New Drug Application (NDA) and commercialization of vidofludimus calcium (IMU-838). The R&D day will feature Immunic executives and MS specialists discussing the investigational oral therapy, which combines Nurr1 activation with selective DHODH inhibition. Immunic also expects to begin an additional Phase 3 trial in progressive MS later in 2026.
