Enovis Corporation has entered a binding offer to acquire French medical technology company eCential Robotics for €155 million, while its price target was lowered to $27 from $30 following the announcement. Completion is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and eCential’s information and consultation process with its works council under French law. eCential’s Op.n platform combines surgical navigation and active robotics in one architecture and is FDA 510(k)-cleared for spine surgery. The transaction would expand Enovis’ ASTRA enabling technology ecosystem and complement its ARVIS Augmented Reality System, adding robotic automation capabilities for orthopedic procedures. The companies also plan to build a robotics center of excellence in Grenoble, support existing partnerships and continue deploying eCential’s FDA-cleared Op.n Spine Navigation and Robotic Guidance Platform.
