OneRail has launched OmniStar, an artificial intelligence delivery decisioning platform developed with Nvidia to help retailers, wholesalers and distributors select the most efficient carrier and delivery method for each order. Built on OneRail’s OmniPoint platform, OmniStar evaluates cost, speed and reliability across available options and can adjust decisions as conditions change. OneRail said a route-selection task that previously took about 20 minutes now takes roughly two and a half minutes. The system draws on data covering more than 12 million drivers and over 1,000 logistics partners, while OneRail’s broader network spans more than 2,000 North American cities. Nvidia’s software and GPU-accelerated technology support rapid processing of logistics variables, automated routing, service-level predictions, exception management and real-time adjustments. OneRail said a hybrid model combines automated decisions with human handlers for complex exceptions and reports 98.6% on-time SLA performance across its network. OmniStar is already in use with select customers, including a large tire distributor that OneRail said is on track to save $40 million over three years through more efficient resource utilization. The company expects the platform to surpass $6 billion in gross merchandise volume in the fourth quarter. OneRail said the technology could help smaller retailers compete with larger rivals on delivery speed and cost. Its three-year collaboration with Nvidia follows an earlier partnership announced this year with FedEx to provide same-day delivery services to customers. OneRail has also expanded its partnership with Advance Auto Parts, was selected by FedEx for SameDay Local services, raised $42 million in venture funding and received its third consecutive recognition in Gartner’s Last Mile Delivery Technology Solutions Market Guide in March 2026.
