Clearmind Medicine has begun Phase IIa of its Phase I/IIa clinical trial evaluating CMND-100 for alcohol use disorder (AUD), with six patients enrolled as of Sept. 1, 2026. Three participants are at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and three at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. The multiple-dose phase follows safety testing in healthy volunteers and is designed to assess CMND-100's safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy in people with moderate-to-severe AUD. An independent Data and Safety Monitoring Board reviewed Part A data and recommended advancing the study. Clearmind is developing CMND-100 as a non-hallucinogenic, psychedelic-derived neuroplastogen for AUD and other neuropsychiatric, metabolic and addiction disorders. Clearmind shares closed at $1.94, up 9.92%, before falling 4.76% to $1.8477 in premarket trading.
