NorthStrive Biosciences, a subsidiary of PMGC Holdings, has signed an amendment with Yuva Biosciences that launches a six-month, three-phase Expansion Program for four AI-discovered compounds. The program follows positive Phase III results announced July 1, 2026, when candidates selected through Yuva's MitoNova platform produced statistically significant increases in ANT1, a mitochondrial protein involved in skeletal muscle energy metabolism, in primary human skeletal muscle cells. The new work will assess the compounds in more mature muscle models, characterize mitochondrial activity and functional effects, and narrow the group toward a nominated lead and designated backup. The amendment also reinforces NorthStrive's exclusive Cardiac Diseases and Obesity field of use and grants it a right of first refusal to negotiate an exclusive license across the broader cardiometabolic field during the agreement and for one year after Phase III completion.
