Tokenized GoPro shares began trading on Solana as $GPRO on September 1, 2026, issued by Backpack Securities through the Sunrise asset gateway. Within hours, the Raydium dynamic fee pool had generated $265,000 in fees on $8 million of volume against $78,000 in deposited liquidity, equivalent to roughly 340% of the committed capital under launch conditions and about 3.3 cents per dollar traded. The fee rate is tied to concentrated early activity and is expected to compress as trading normalizes. Each token is backed 1:1 by a GoPro share held in custody and represents a New York UCC Article 8 security entitlement converted into a Solana SPL token. Holders can redeem through Backpack Securities or transfer the position through DTCC/ACATS rails. Sunrise, built by Wormhole Labs, assigns canonical mint addresses that allow the tokens to flow across wallets and decentralized exchanges without separate venue integrations. GoPro is the fourth company in Backpack Securities’ program, following SpaceX, Micron and Moderna; Moderna recorded $4.5 million in first-day volume, while GoPro exceeded that figure within its first hours. The token trades on Backpack Exchange, Titan Exchange, Raydium and Jupiter-routed venues, and can be held in wallets including Phantom. The listing adds a consumer-hardware company to a roster spanning private-market access, semiconductors and biotech. Separately, the existing record reports retail interest in GoPro, a reported 8.5% Markiplier stake, a session gain of more than 20% and GoPro’s announced acquisition by Starman Optical, Inc.; those claims are separate from the token launch. An unrelated $GOPRO community token also trades on Solana, making verification of the Sunrise mint essential. xStocks separately plans to add 100 London Stock Exchange assets to Solana.
