Palantir CEO Alex Karp will be the first lead investor in a defense technology company launched by Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s former defense minister. The venture aims to convert Ukraine’s wartime experience with drones, artificial intelligence and battlefield software into products for Ukraine and its allies. The company’s name, investment size, planned technologies and the extent of Karp’s involvement have not been disclosed. Fedorov was removed as defense minister by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in July after six months in office and has since pursued projects and U.S. backing for Ukraine’s defense sector.
