Curve DAO’s CRV gained more than 16% in 24 hours, lifting its weekly increase to about 9% as demand for DeFi (decentralized finance) liquidity supporting token swaps increased. A newer report said daily trading volume rose 174% to about $122 million, while an earlier September 1 snapshot recorded $176.895 million in 24-hour volume and a 14.2% price gain to $0.359. CRV traded above $0.36 and its 20-day and 50-day moving averages, with resistance at $0.3851 and $0.3976 and support near $0.345. Curve Finance’s active addresses averaged more than 6,000, transactions reached about 30,000 on each of two consecutive days, crvUSD’s market capitalization exceeded $283 million, and TVL (total value locked) rose from $1.43 billion in July to $1.70 billion this quarter. The earlier snapshot reported Curve TVL of $1.549 billion and broader DeFi TVL of $87.351 billion.
