U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $142 million in net inflows as September trading opened, reversing the previous session’s outflow and providing a positive signal for regulated BTC demand after a choppy end to August. The inflow followed the August 28 outflow session, which had broken a multi-day positive-flow streak. ETF flows are closely watched because they show how traditional-market capital is moving through a regulated access channel, although one day’s data does not establish a sustained trend. Spot Bitcoin ETFs offer investors exposure through brokerage and portfolio accounts without requiring self-custody, crypto-exchange use or wallet management. The figure is a daily flow measure rather than total ETF demand, and flows can also reflect rebalancing, basis trades, fund-specific activity, profit-taking, macro positioning and month-end timing. The next sessions will show whether the positive opening develops into a broader September trend. The data was drawn from Farside Investors.
