Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. is expanding its European operations through greater local capacity in sales, manufacturing, service, talent development and digital support. The company outlined the plans at an Aug. 19 partner meeting at its German factory, where customers and partners from several European countries discussed market development, products, services and local operations. Participants acknowledged improvements in Zoomlion product quality and technology while identifying long-term service, spare-parts support and a broader product range as priorities. Chairman and CEO Zhan Chunxin said Europe is strategically important to Zoomlion and reaffirmed its long-term localization commitment. The company plans to expand European spare-parts and service networks, improve response times and parts availability, and introduce a digital customer-service platform that automatically assigns service tasks and tracks them through completion. Zoomlion also plans to continue launching products and technologies and broaden its portfolio for local market needs. On Aug. 25, Zhan inspected m-tec production and research and development facilities in Germany, including work involving 3D printing applications. He said Zoomlion would support m-tec through the group's global market presence, research and development capabilities and financial resources, while deepening cooperation in technology, products and market development. Since joining Zoomlion in 2014, m-tec has developed expertise in dry-mortar machinery and construction materials and become a key part of the group's European localization strategy. Zoomlion's European network includes local production facilities at CIFA in Italy, m-tec, WILBERT and RABE in Germany, and an aerial-work-platform factory in Hungary, alongside regional sales, service and financing capabilities.
