Nauticus Robotics said both of its Comanche remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems are working simultaneously on commercial offshore projects, with one supporting offshore wind development in the U.S. Northeast and the other inspecting a platform along the Gulf Coast. The Houston-based autonomous subsea-robot and software developer announced the deployments after markets closed Tuesday. Shares rose 24.67% to $0.99 in after-hours trading after closing the regular session at $0.80, down 1.86%, according to Benzinga Pro data. Nauticus said the concurrent projects increase utilization of both ROV assets and represent commercial activity in two U.S. offshore markets. The company has submitted additional ROV bids and proposals in U.S. and international locations, but those opportunities are excluded from current operating figures and are not guaranteed to produce contracts. Nauticus does not provide revenue guidance and said the operational update should not be treated as a forecast. The stock has a market capitalization of $5.96 million, is near its 52-week low of $0.75, and has fallen 98.30% over the past 12 months.
