Crypto super PAC Fairshake modestly backed Democratic incumbent Jake Auchincloss, who dominated Tuesday night’s Massachusetts primary vote count, lifting the network’s supported primary winners to about 50 as it largely closes primary efforts ahead of the November general election that will shape control of Congress. Fairshake has a bipartisan record but was especially notable this year in Republican races, helping secure Senate primary wins for Barry Moore in Alabama, Andy Barr in Kentucky, Kevin Hern in Oklahoma and Harriet Hageman in Wyoming to replace retiring Sen. Cynthia Lummis—each expected to win in November and join the chamber as crypto advocates. Polymarket odds put Hern near 97%, Hageman near 96% and Moore near 99%, while Kalshi showed Barr near 94%. Those arrivals could matter as the Senate continues work on major crypto bills, including whether the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act clears later this month. Fairshake’s largest primary setback was Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton, a Democrat it spent more than $10 million trying to defeat. Funded mainly by Coinbase, Ripple and a16z, Fairshake and affiliates also defended seven reliably pro-crypto lawmakers and backed many first-time pro-crypto candidates from both parties, including numerous Democrats who could matter if the House swings Democratic. Auchincloss has often voted for crypto legislation aside from last year’s GENIUS Act and holds a lukewarm “C” grade from Coinbase-backed Stand With Crypto.
