Apple reported fiscal third-quarter 2026 revenue of $109.4 billion on July 30, up 16% year over year, in Tim Cook’s final earnings report as CEO before John Ternus takes over on Sept. 1. Diluted earnings per share rose 29% to $2.02, led by iPhone revenue of $54.3 billion and Services revenue of $30.7 billion. Cook’s 15-year tenure helped expand Apple’s market capitalization from $350 billion to around $4.6 trillion, broaden the company beyond the iPhone and turn Services into a major profitability driver. Apple forecast September-quarter revenue growth of 9% to 11%, below analyst expectations, citing advanced-chip supply constraints and foreign-exchange headwinds; its shares declined after the report. Cook is expected to become executive chairman and continue some geopolitical work.
