Chinese large language model developer Zhipu has opened an official flagship store on Alibaba's Tmall platform, where users can purchase GLM Coding Plan subscriptions through the Taobao app. The plans are based on the GLM-5.3 model and support more than 20 mainstream agent-based coding tools, including ZCode, Claude Code and Codex. The latest Tmall listing offers individual Lite, Pro and Max plans at 118 yuan, 538 yuan and 1,078 yuan, respectively, alongside a team standard seat priced at 598 yuan. The listed packages include weekly quotas of 10,000, 60,000, 140,000 and 66,000 credits per individual or team seat, and are available on monthly, quarterly and annual terms. The launch extends Zhipu's shift from one-time model sales toward recurring usage-based revenue and gives individual developers and small teams a direct retail channel for AI coding services. Zhipu's first-half 2026 revenue rose 399.7% year over year to 954 million yuan, while open platform and API revenue increased 2,735.7% to about 825 million yuan. China's expanding token economy and the entry of telecom operators and major technology companies into token distribution have increased competition for AI model usage. Earlier material described the quotas as monthly credits; the latest Tmall listing specifies weekly allocations.
