SHEINx, a synthetic token tracking SHEIN's Hong Kong-listed shares, appeared on PancakeSwap around the company's September 1, 2026, debut. SHEIN offered 280 million Class B shares at HK$48.56 each, raising roughly HK$13.6 billion, or about $1.7 billion, at a $26.5 billion valuation. The stock fell as much as 10% during its first session before closing roughly flat, then slipped further in the following session. Revenue growth slowed to 8% in 2025 from 20.7% a year earlier, and SHEIN posted a net loss in the first quarter of 2026 linked to changes in U.S. tariffs on low-value imports. SHEINx does not represent ownership of SHEIN shares and provides no dividends or voting rights. The token was created through xStocks, which the new report says offers more than 700 tokenized equities and ETFs across Solana and EVM-compatible chains. Existing reporting described the launch as occurring in the early hours of September 2, creating a timing discrepancy with the September 1 date. On PancakeSwap, the token's stated tracking hours align with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange session from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. HKT, while existing reporting described xStocks tokens as tradable around the clock on Solana. The product can broaden access to SHEIN price exposure through crypto wallets and stablecoins, but it depends on DeFi liquidity and does not provide the protections of conventional share ownership.
