KuCoin Web3 Wallet upgraded its self-custodial trading interface on September 2 by adding intent-based swaps through UniswapX and PancakeSwapX and 1inch-powered limit orders. For eligible swaps, users specify an intended outcome while third-party fillers or solvers compete to execute the trade. Depending on the asset, network, route and liquidity, execution may offer broader liquidity, competitive quotes, gas abstraction and protection against adverse MEV, including front-running and sandwich attacks. Limit orders let users set a target price and expiry, with cryptographically signed orders remaining offchain until filled. The upgrade also covers eligible tokenized assets referencing stocks, ETFs and other real-world assets, subject to issuer rules, user eligibility, network support, market availability and liquidity. KuCoin previously worked with 1inch on RWA trading and integrated Robinhood Chain for DeFi access in July. The company did not publish independent execution benchmarks, and self-custody does not eliminate trading, smart-contract or liquidity risks.
