Tencent Holdings has launched the open platform for its AI workspace WorkBuddy, connecting smart hardware, industry applications, and developers. More than 100 ecosystem partners joined at inception, including over 30 hardware brands and applications spanning more than 20 professional domains. Nine co-branded devices debuted at the launch event. Jefferies identified WorkBuddy’s Harness platform as Tencent’s most strategically valuable asset, citing more than 70,000 skills, model flexibility, an emerging user-and-developer flywheel, and potential margin expansion as free users convert to paid customers. The brokerage maintained a Buy rating on Tencent and a HK$750 target price, implying roughly 70% upside from current levels.
