Americas Uranium Corp. has agreed to acquire a 100% interest in the Treeline Uranium Project in New Mexico from Verdera Energy Corp. The consideration includes $100,000 in cash and $2 million in shares payable over 36 months, plus royalties. The project contains historical uranium mineralization estimated at about 1.02 million pounds of U3O8, a uranium oxide compound. The company said the acquisition supports its strategy.
