Lyte, a Mountain View, California-based robotics and artificial intelligence startup, has raised $165 million in a round valuing the company at $1.6 billion, roughly triple its previous valuation. Maverick Silicon led the financing, with Fidelity Management & Research, Atreides Management, Key1 Capital and Ora Global participating. The funding brings Lyte’s total fundraising since its 2021 founding to $272 million. Founded by former Apple and PrimeSense engineers and led by CEO Alexander Shpunt, Lyte develops an integrated perception technology stack for robots, spanning custom chips, multimodal sensors and spatial software. Its LyteVision platform received the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the Robotics category. Lyte plans to use the latest proceeds to scale production of its perception chips and LyteVision, while advancing AI perception capabilities and commercial robot deployments.
