Bitget said assets under management in its rToken tokenized stock product exceeded $200 million, nearly doubling from $114 million at the start of August. rToken trading totaled about 1.2 million transactions last month, while the number of users increased about 20% from the previous month. The tokens use the prefix r before a stock ticker, such as rNVDA for Nvidia and rAAPL for Apple, and are pegged one-to-one to their underlying assets. Reserves are held by licensed custodians, dividends are paid in token form on a one-to-one basis, and corporate actions including stock splits and reverse splits are synchronized with the tokens. Bitget's previously reported TradFi contract activity included more than 250 million trades, monthly trading value above $100 billion for a second consecutive month, 12% monthly user growth and support for 299 stock-contract underlyings.
