Coinbase Advanced now offers customizable charts with candlestick or line views, adjustable Y-axis settings, asset type filters, selectable timeframes and technical indicators. Users can save chart preferences for each market, allowing setups such as a four-hour Bitcoin chart with RSI (relative strength index) to remain intact when switching markets. The tools are powered by TradingView integration, providing access to more than 100 indicators and custom drawing tools. A separate modular interface update introduced a customizable dashboard with more than 20 widgets, using pre-built templates or layouts created from scratch. Coinbase has added trading tools incrementally throughout 2025 and into 2026, including expanded candle intervals and the introduction of four-hour candles. The June 2026 modular interface release was the largest single update in that sequence. The additions come as Binance, Bybit and OKX compete for professional traders with advanced charting and customizable interfaces. Coinbase has traditionally differentiated itself through regulatory standing and brand trust in the US market, but users with traditional-finance backgrounds increasingly expect tools resembling Bloomberg terminals and ThinkOrSwim.
