Bybit has appointed Sean Ballard as head of its derivatives and institutional business as the crypto exchange pursues continued institutional expansion. Ballard has more than 25 years of financial-market experience and most recently led Jump Trading’s high-frequency futures trading business across the United States, EMEA and Latin America. At Bybit, he will oversee trading infrastructure, risk management and product development while advancing the company’s institutional business.
