  • edgeX will offer 24/7 USD/JPY perpetuals and over 150 markets using native USDC.
  • Testnet processed 150 million transactions and 1.5 million wallets; Aave V4 proposal pending governance.

Circle’s Arc public mainnet is scheduled to launch on Sept. 16 following a private-mainnet phase that began in May. edgeX has been selected as the network’s flagship perpetuals platform, planning to offer 24/7 trading from launch day with an initial focus on USD/JPY perpetual contracts and more than 150 markets covering U.S. stocks, commodities and crypto assets. Margin, settlement and fees will use Arc-native USDC, which also serves as the gas token. The network has 11 founding validators and more than 100 participating institutions and ecosystem teams. BlackRock is expected to deploy its BUIDL fund on Arc, while Circle and DTCC plan DTC asset tokenization starting in the second half of 2027. The public testnet produced more than 150 million transactions and about 1.5 million transacting wallets during its first 90 days. Meme tokens and launchpads are preparing for launch, with early activity featuring tokens such as Architects, FatCatBatRatWifHat and COOL. Partnerships include Aave for potential V4 deployment, Uniswap and Aerodrome for spot trading, FalconX and others for market making, plus wallets and payment providers. Circle will also introduce additional products on launch day, including a composable application framework, AI tools and tokenized real-world asset capabilities.
