German AI data analytics startup Zeit AI has raised €5 million in seed funding from Y Combinator, the Oxford University Seed Fund, Sequoia Capital Scout Fund, ACE Ventures and HPVC. Angel investors included Christian Lindner, Mario Götze and Charlie Songhurst. Founded two years ago by two former Palantir employees, Zeit AI developed ZeitMind, an autonomous data analyst that processes raw data and generates reports, alerts and inventory optimization outputs without human data engineers. The financing was reported by Tech Funding News in a Sept. 3 report cited by PANews.
