Red Metal Resources reports first Farellon ore delivery ahead of schedule

  • Minera KMT SpA delivered Farellon copper sulphide ore to ENAMI in Chile.
  • 591.66 tonnes were hauled in 16 truckloads on Aug. 20 and 21, 2026.
  • Red Metal holds an effective 8.5% royalty after the vendor royalty deduction.

Red Metal Resources said Minera KMT SpA completed the first deliveries of copper sulphide ore from the Farellon 1/8 concession at its Carrizal Copper-Gold-Cobalt Property near Vallenar, Chile. The ore was hauled to Empresa Nacional de Minería's Vallenar processing plant in 16 truckloads on Aug. 20 and 21, 2026, with a combined delivered weight of approximately 591.66 tonnes. The deliveries came about three months after the May 14 mining agreement, roughly four months earlier than the agreement's seven-month development period. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Minera Polymet SpA, Red Metal holds a 10% net sales royalty on minerals sold to ENAMI, less a pre-existing 1.5% royalty payable to the original vendor, resulting in an effective 8.5% royalty. Final assays, settlement and payment remain pending, with valuation to be determined by ENAMI. KMT is responsible for mining, permitting and regulatory compliance, while Red Metal continues monitoring the operation and advancing exploration targets for drilling later in 2026.
