An address labeled "Bonk Guy Fomo" generated about $5 million in unrealized gains over a week, with roughly $4.4 million attributed to PONS, according to a screenshot shared by on-chain intelligence platform Arkham on Aug. 31. Theunipcs, who appeared to acknowledge the address, said the figure would soon reach $6.5 million and implied Arkham's estimate was conservative. PONS is the platform token of Pons Labs' non-custodial launchpad (a platform for issuing and trading tokens) on Robinhood Chain, a layer-2 network built on blockchain infrastructure. Robinhood Chain launched its mainnet in July this year, while Pons quickly became its leading venue by token launches and trading activity. About 80% of the protocol's share of trading fees is used for buybacks and token burns. Pons Labs reported $400 million in volume during the 24 hours ended Sept. 3, and GMGN data showed PONS briefly exceeding a $500 million market capitalization. A purchase near a $6 million valuation would therefore represent roughly an 83-fold return. The episode revives the profile of the trader nicknamed Bonk Guy, who previously turned a $16,000 BONK perpetual-futures position (a futures contract without an expiry date) into more than $20 million in peak unrealized gains before suffering a major liquidation event in October 2025. He later moved to the social-trading platform FOMO, where he reported an all-time-high portfolio value of about $6 million in late August and roughly $3 million in gains over the previous 30 days. His return to the top of profit rankings remains below his earlier peak, leaving the trader still attempting to recover from the 2025 losses.
