Chainlink and Bottomline have formed a strategic partnership to connect Bottomline's payment systems with public and private blockchains, allowing more than 600 banking clients to access cross-chain and cross-border payment rails while retaining ISO 20022 messaging. Bottomline processes more than $16 trillion in payments annually, and Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol and Runtime Environment will link bank workflows with blockchain networks. The integration gives institutions a single connection to multiple blockchain networks rather than requiring separate technical links. Chainlink said its oracle infrastructure secures about $33.1 billion in value across 505 protocols, while CCIP has handled more than $18 billion in transactions across over 70 networks. Separately, Chainlink Data Feeds went live on Tempo, a stablecoin-payments layer-1 blockchain incubated by Stripe and Paradigm before its March 2026 mainnet launch. LINK traded at $12.08, up 7.36% over 24 hours in the latest market reading, after rallying about 50% and forming a bullish pennant pattern on daily charts. Earlier market checks put the token near $11.68-$11.84, reflecting changing intraday prices.
