Strategy shares surged 17.5% on Sept. 3 to close at $144.82, lifting the Bitcoin-focused company’s market capitalization from $47.43 billion to $57.53 billion and placing it at No. 445 globally and No. 210 in the United States. The move followed Strategy’s purchase of 4,603 Bitcoin for about $369.7 million, reported elsewhere as $370 million, bringing its holdings to 845,050 BTC; MSTR gained about 8.94% during the week. Bitcoin rose about 6% to $82,000, supported by lower yields, a weaker dollar and Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller’s comment that he was inclined to leave rates unchanged. Strategy also increased cash reserves by $29 million and bought back $152 million in STRC. The broader week included a 0.74% increase in total crypto market capitalization to $2.71 trillion, while MSTR, CRCL, DELL, AMC and FAMI were the five stocks users followed most closely across Bitcoin treasuries, stablecoins, AI servers and movie theaters.
