Nvidia said Acer and Lenovo will launch the first Windows PCs powered by its RTX Spark chip in October 2026, expanding the company’s push to bring AI processing directly to laptops and desktops. RTX Spark combines a Blackwell graphics processor with a Grace central processor and was developed with Taiwan’s MediaTek. Nvidia unveiled the chip in June through a partnership with Microsoft following three years of collaboration aimed at reshaping PCs for the AI era. On-device AI can reduce reliance on cloud services while improving privacy and response times by processing tasks locally. Apple also recently refreshed its Mac mini and Mac Studio with M-series chips capable of running larger AI models and autonomous AI agents locally.
