U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $730.9 million in net inflows on Sept. 3, their strongest daily result since January and the third-largest session of 2026, led by about $454 million entering BlackRock's IBIT. The rebound followed more than $236 million in withdrawals on Sept. 1 and brought cumulative inflows since the funds launched in January 2024 to $55.44 billion, while total net assets exceeded $103 billion. Bitcoin rose more than 4% to trade near $81,130 after climbing from below $77,000 to above $82,000, with more than $448 million in short positions liquidated over 24 hours. Spot Ether ETFs added $141.4 million, led by BlackRock's ETHA and Fidelity's FETH. Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas said crypto ETF products still required a further $1 billion of inflows to eliminate their year-to-date flow deficit. CryptoQuant analyst PelinayPA said whale transfers to Binance had declined and that key profit-and-loss indicators remained near neutral levels, suggesting large holders were not showing clear profit-taking pressure. Analyst Ted Pillows noted that two earlier daily Bitcoin ETF inflows above $700 million were followed by local Bitcoin peaks, while Fidelity said the recovery alone does not establish the end of the bear market.
