Tmap Mobility has launched the Driving Step Counter, extending the benefits of its existing step-based Tmap Pedometer to driving distance. Users can receive a Tmap lottery ticket after driving 5 kilometers and at each 10-kilometer interval from 10 to 50 kilometers in a day. Lottery rewards can accumulate to as much as 50,000 Korean won worth of Tmap Points, which can be exchanged for gifticons. Users who drive and walk on the same day can receive driving-distance and step-count benefits separately. The feature is activated by selecting the relevant tab after pressing Start Pedometer on Tmap’s home screen. Its screen shows the day’s driving history and driving-distance trends over the previous seven days.
