Fine M-Tech is expected to post a sharp earnings improvement in the second half as Apple prepares to enter the foldable-device market, alongside a recovery in Samsung Electronics' foldable business. Hanyang Securities analyst Jun-seok Lee forecasts full-year consolidated revenue of ₩392.17 billion (approximately $289.2 million) and operating profit of ₩25.9 billion (approximately $19.1 million), representing year-over-year growth of 64.0% and 1,238.5%, respectively. The analyst issued no separate investment rating or target price. Apple-related component sales could contribute more than ₩200 billion (approximately $147.5 million) in second-half revenue if supply volumes expand as expected. Fine M-Tech's second-quarter results showed improving profitability despite a 65.1% increase in research and development spending, supporting the forecast. Its foldable backplate division generated ₩73.2 billion (approximately $54.0 million) of second-quarter revenue, while Samsung foldable shipments, electric-vehicle and energy-storage end plates, and automotive and smart-device components provide additional growth drivers. The company commercialized the world's first foldable backplate in 2019 and has shipped more than 55 million sets cumulatively.
