BEATOZ and Danal advance stablecoin payment services for physical franchises

  • BEATOZ and Danal signed an MOU to commercialize stablecoin payment and settlement services.
  • BEATOZ’s CPG supports terminal-free virtual-asset payments and settlements in a preferred stablecoin.
  • The companies will conduct a PoC and review issuance, infrastructure and service models.

BEATOZ and payment service specialist Danal are advancing plans to commercialize stablecoin payment and settlement services in physical franchise environments. BEATOZ announced on September 4 that the companies had signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Their collaboration will connect BEATOZ’s hybrid blockchain and Crypto Payment Gateway (CPG) with Danal’s electronic payment gateway and payment infrastructure, followed by a Proof of Concept. BEATOZ’s CPG can connect in parallel with existing VAN networks, allowing franchises to accept virtual assets without replacing payment terminals. Online and app payments can use API integration, while settlements can be made in a franchise’s preferred stablecoin regardless of the asset received. The system is designed to handle different coins and blockchains through automated payment routing, chain conversions and swaps. The companies will also examine virtual-asset issuance, distribution, payment and settlement models, including shared infrastructure involving financial institutions, VAN companies, franchises and virtual-asset businesses.
