Aptos [APT] rose more than 10% over 24 hours, with daily trading volume exceeding $109 million as a technical breakout coincided with supply reduction following a 10x fee increase. In the past seven days, real-world asset (RWA) net flows placed Aptos second among tracked networks at $145 million, behind Ethereum’s $149 million. Network activity also increased, with 57,047 active addresses and more than 16 million transactions recorded on Sept. 3. Average transaction fees have been $0.0005 since the fee increase, with the proceeds used to buy back and burn APT. Aptos said 1.523 million APT were permanently burned over the past 30 days and 1.7 million tokens since mainnet, implying an annualized burn rate of 1.8 million tokens. On the market, APT broke above a descending trend channel for the second time after forming a double bottom at $0.523, and was moving toward August’s peak above $0.71. However, net volume showed roughly 340,000 APT sold in the latest session, while overbought RSI conditions and resistance at $0.65 pointed to weakening short-term momentum. Tokenomist said about 11.31 million APT worth $6.88 million would enter circulation in a week, equal to 0.65% of the released supply, creating downside risk because the release is much larger than the tokens burned in a month.
