Binance applied its Monitoring Tag to AVA, Gains Network, Scroll and Towns Protocol on September 4, 2026, putting the tokens under more frequent reviews while leaving trading and related services available. The designation warns of elevated volatility and possible delisting if the projects no longer meet Binance's listing standards. The tags appear on relevant Binance Spot, Margin and Markets Overview pages, accompanied by risk-warning notices; Binance said some assets may be unavailable to UK users. Separately, Binance Alpha removed 14 assets from its featured-token list at 8:30 UTC on September 4, though users can still sell or withdraw the affected tokens. Alpha is Binance Wallet's early-stage token discovery feature, so removal does not automatically affect a main Binance spot listing. Earlier individual market snapshots showed declines in TOWNS, SCR, AVA and GNS after the Monitoring Tag notice, but Binance's latest announcement said no verified market data established a common price reaction across all 18 affected assets. In August, Binance delisted six tokens, including ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY and VIC, after four had previously received Monitoring Tags.
