Trezor said a breach at logistics provider ShipMonk exposed the names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses and order numbers of roughly 67,000 additional U.S. customers, taking the known total beyond 80,000. The newly identified records cover orders placed between November 2019 and August 2021 and remained in ShipMonk's systems despite written assurances that the data had been deleted. Trezor previously reported 13,689 affected customers, including 11,742 whose full information was exposed and 1,947 whose exposure was limited to names, cities and email addresses. The hardware-wallet maker said its systems, devices, private keys and wallet backups were not compromised, while warning that the leaked data heightens phishing and impersonation risks. Parcel contents were not exposed. Trezor said it has notified every newly identified customer and that people who did not receive an email are not affected by the newly discovered records. The company is accelerating an Anonymous Delivery option intended to reduce identity data associated with shipments.
