Stellantis is discussing long-term industrial cooperation for struggling luxury brand Maserati with Huawei and JAC Group, two sources told Reuters. The talks could involve Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility platform and potentially begin production of a jointly developed vehicle by the end of next year. Milano Finanza reported that discussions were at an advanced stage and could include dual branding, with vehicles sold under JAC's Maextro marque in China and Maserati internationally. Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa has identified manufacturing partnerships as part of the automaker's long-term strategy, including a €60 billion business plan through 2030. Maserati shipped fewer than 8,000 cars last year and posted a €198 million adjusted operating loss. The brand is scheduled to present its own long-term strategy in December.
