Solana’s decentralized application ecosystem generated $143.23 million in August, representing 38.1% of the $375.53 million collected across all blockchains analyzed by DefiLlama. Revenue rose nearly 73% from July’s $82.9 million, putting Solana ahead of Hyperliquid L1, Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain, whose revenues were $55.6 million, $47.1 million and $34.7 million, respectively. Pump.fun contributed $58.2 million, or 40.6% of Solana’s application-layer revenue, while Axiom generated nearly $24 million. Solana also processed 5.2 billion non-vote transactions during the month. Pump.fun’s cumulative gross revenue has exceeded $1.259 billion since its January 2024 launch, and its buybacks surpassed $429 million by the end of August, reducing initial circulating supply by 28.6%. August extended Solana’s position as the decentralized application revenue leader for nine consecutive quarters after the network closed the second quarter of 2026 with $257 million billed. Developers plan additional performance tests and consensus audits in early September to monitor node stability.
